Heidi Klum is known for her ground-breaking looks, including her shocking Halloween costumes, which often cause chatter this time of year. But in her recent ad campaign with her daughter, Leni Olum Klum, the images are creating more backlash than usual.

The supermodel, 51, and her daughter, 20, have collaborated on a new ad campaign that has the internet talking — a series of photos and videos promoting lingerie brand Intimissimi. While modeling may be the family business, somefollowers have been saying that a mother and daughter taking photos of each other in lingerie strikes them as “weird.”

The campaign is meant to highlight the comfort and softness of Intimissimi’s lingerie, but one commenter noticed that it was strange to see Klum feeling the lingerie that her daughter was wearing. “Strange she’s touching your panties,” they wrote on Leni’s post.

Another fan was more explicit, writing that the videos looked “Like the beginning of a p*rn😭.”

Of course, some Instagram commenters were quick to jump in with jokes and sarcastic quips. “Very authentic situation. Doing this with my dad all the time, when it comes to shorts,” wrote one follower, while another made a pun out of the brand name, calling it “Incestissimi.”

A few fans of the Klum ladies jumped in to defend the mother-daughter duo and accuse critics of over-sexualizing an ad that was meant to be harmless “BEAUTIFUL😍👏 and I dont understand the comments who say it is weird to do this with your mom. WHY? Do they eventually see the female body and lingerie as something always s3xual? […] to me, this is just a mother & daugther who are like best friends❤️😍 LOVE IT!” said one supporter. Another follower wrote that the ad was not meant to be romantic or sexual. “They are just modeling . They are not making out . Mother and daughter modeling for the same brand.”
