Elena Rybakina started her Wimbledon campaign with a strong 6-3, 6-1 win over Elena-Gabriela Ruse. She faced a tough match against Laura Siegemund but won in three sets. Rybakina then dominated Caroline Wozniacki, winning 6-0, 6-1 in under an hour. In the fourth round, she was leading when Anna Kalinskaya retired due to injury.

Krejcikova won the first set after an early break. Despite Ostapenko’s 4-1 lead in the second set, Krejcikova fought back to serve for the match at 5-4. After a brief setback, she won in a tie-break, 6-4, 7-6 (4), reaching the semifinals for the first time.
